Alabama fans calling for Kalen DeBoer to be fired thanks to Florida State magic

In case you forgot, FSU is still FSU and winning in Doak Campbell Stadium isn't easy.

You can take your 14.5-point spread and your doubts and shove 'em where you want. The Seminole standard is alive and well. Maybe things haven't been perfect over the past year, but Mike Norvell said he had a new group, and it was a new team. If we didn't believe him before, we believe him now.

Meanwhile, if Alabama fans have their way, Kalen DeBoer might not make it out of September.

And that was one of the nicer posts on DeBoer. This guy wants him out by Monday. Isn't Monday a federal holiday? How you gonna fire a guy on his day off?

I am never one to endorse rioting in front of someone's house with torches. It seems very dangerous. But Bama fan is really not happy about this. This is potentially a scary situation. I don't think some of them have been this angry since 'Hee Haw' was canceled.

Mike Norvell is back in his happy place

But how about FSU? How about those Seminoles? They have been left for dead since the end of last season. Mike Norvell was basically written off. And I'm just as guilty as anyone. Going 2-10 isn't just a bad season, it's basically a crime to do it at FSU. There was no reason to think Norvell was going to bounce back from this.

But here he is, starting all over in Year 6. He's had his share of ups and downs in Tallahassee and last year was enough to want to throw it all away. But he didn't quit. He regrouped and put together a new team of players and a new team of coaches.

FSU fans don't have to apologize to Mike Norvell. Not after signing a $10 million annual contract just to go 2-10, but they should trust that Norvell can identify his mistakes and correct them.

So it's time to celebrate FSU fans. Walk down Tennessee Street tonight and stick your chests out. You took all the punches last season, and you're still standing. Now it's time to remind everyone who you are!
