Overall Thoughts

This 2025 season might be the last season for the Noles and Clemson in the ACC. This breakdown of tiers is a prime reason the ACC gets no respect from the national media. The number of teams that have no shot to win anything, much less win the ACC or make the College Football Playoffs is a running joke.

SMU went undefeated in the conference and got no respect.

Clemson won the ACC, got blown out by a flawed Texas team, and lost to South Carolina at home. The national media have jumped the shark to root for the SEC and B1G Conferences.

We'll learn a lot about most of the schools in week one, and they'll have an opportunity to affect the narrative if they can win a handful of these games:

  • Alabama vs. FSU
  • LSU vs. Clemson
  • Notre Dame vs. Miami
  • Colorado vs. Georgia Tech
  • Tennessee vs. Syracuse
  • South Carolina vs. Virginia Tech
  • TCU vs. North Carolina

The sad part is I can see them realistically winning maybe 2-3 of those games.
