These Teams Have No Chance

Stanford and California had been sub-par for years before joining the ACC. They continued to be terrible in their inaugural season in the ACC. Wake Forest only won four games and has a brand-new coaching staff. They don't have the overall talent to compete.

Duke overachieved last season with a soft schedule and insane turnover luck. They upgraded at quarterback but don't have the insane soft schedule they had a year ago. Boston College returns their quarterback but has a backloaded schedule that could see them lose six of their last seven. Virginia Tech has two new coordinators and lost a ton from last year's team who didn't contend last year.

NC State has two new coordinators and lost a lot from last year's team that didn't contend. They did some work in the portal, but it's not enough to change their direction.

I'm not a believer in North Carolina under Bill Bilichick. That's a disaster waiting to happen and they lost a good deal of the better players they had a year ago. The Orange will have a new quarterback and will look to build on last year, but they play a murderer's row of Clemson, SMU, Georgia Tech, Miami, and Notre Dame.
