It's all or nothing for a couple of the holes remaining in the class.

Jarius Rodgers-DE (Syracuse commit)

Notice a trend here? Another defensive end committed elsewhere. Four-star Jarius Rogers is a player FSU got on campus several times before he committed to the Syracuse Orange in January 2025.

He's a player who'll need some time to develop, but has excellent upside. FSU turned up the heat on Rogers once most of their recruiting targets decided to go elsewhere.

Rogers only took official visits to Syracuse and UCF this summer, but will officially visit FSU for the Miami game.

FSU should go into that game with a 3-1 record at worst, and that game could be a large determining factor in flipping him or not. Rogers attends the same high school as FSU running back Sam Singleton in Orange Park, Florida.

I'd have to think that staying closer to home with a bigger brand would be enticing if FSU can get its act together. Plus, I expect Syracuse to fall back to earth in year two with Fran Brown losing a lot from last year's team who surprised everyone.
