Asharri Charles-DE(Miami commit)
Four-star athlete Asharri Charles took official visits to Miami, Louisville, Kentucky, and Missouri this summer. He committed to the Hurricanes a couple of days after his official visit, with Miami having the final official visit(at the time).
That's no longer the case as he'll take an official visit for the Alabama game later this month. FSU was the first to offer Charles in January 2023, and he visited for camp in the summer of 2024. However, he hasn't been on campus since the new defensive staff got hired.
This visit against Alabama will be monstrous if they can play well or somehow pull off the upset. Five-star commit Chauncey Kennon threw his hat into the mix to get Charles to flip shortly after committing to the Noles.
The official visit is the first step in achieving that goal. FSU has to knock it out of the park during the season to complete the task at a major position of need. Plus, it would remove an asset from a rival's class.
