Offensive Line
FSU offensive line coach Herb Hand did a great job with this group in 2025. He identified multiple experienced guys who came in and started nearly every game for the Noles. They improved the rushing attack, and every running back averaged over four yards per rush.
FSU having Thomas Castellanos at quarterback running the ball inflated those numbers, but they saw massive improvements in nearly every category.
Tackles for a loss allowed went from 95 to 59. FSU went from 1,079 rushing yards in 2024 to 2,624 in 2025.
Here’s the problem. FSU doesn’t have many proven options behind those starters who exhausted eligibility. They have a few who could contribute in 2026, but no guarantees they can count on. FSU needs to at least meet the same level of play they had in 2025 or exceed it somehow.
They have guys on the roster who SHOULD be contributors next year. If they don’t think that’s the case, can they find four or five serviceable starters from the transfer portal again?
