WR DUCE ROBINSON

Florida State football had a couple of quality transfers that they acquired this offseason. However, one of the biggest pickups were former USC wide receiver Duce Robinson, whose father played with the Seminoles.

The former five-star prospect was someone that the Seminoles recruited out of high school. The 6'6" pass catcher was thought to be a tight end in the recruitment process, but he has blossomed into a quality wide receiver.

Robinson made the young Virginia Tech defensive backs look awful, as Robinson recorded six receptions for 134 yards and one touchdown. Quarterback Thomas Castellanos alluded to the post-game conference that if he had been more accurate, the wide receiver would have had more production.

Either way, he only needs 53 more yards to accomplish a 1000-yard season. It is expected that he should get the job done, with North Carolina State and Florida on the docket for the regular season.
