ATH JAYLIN LUCAS

Florida State has gotten a ton of players involved in offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn's scheme. The Seminoles want to allow their playmakers to shine. Unfortunately, there is only one football, so many of the offensive players have to share opportunities.

It seems like the coaching staff has a plan to get wide receiver Micahi Danzy. I thought that the Tallahassee native and track star would be a gadget piece for the Seminoles to keep opposing defenses honest.

However, Florida State was even using Danzy as a true wide receiver instead of just jet sweeps. With that said, they need to work more on his hands when catching the football, but he is still a weapon that they need to use.

Athlete Jaylin Lucas needs to be someone whom they prioritize. Fans will probably never forget the day that head football coach Mike Norvell went up to the podium during the post-game of the Georgia Tech season-opening loss last year, and explained how they needed to use Lucas more.

Then the Seminoles had a few more plays for the former Indiana transfer, and he suffered a season-ending injury against Boston College. Lucas only had one carry for nine yards with no receptions against Virginia. This should not be the case this week against Miami.
