RB ROYDELL WILLIAMS

Many fans thought that former Oklahoma running back transfer Gavin Sawchuk would be the lead back in the rotation when the Seminoles picked him up in the transfer portal. However, it hasn't panned out that way considering that he has not been mentioned by the coaching staff.

We know that offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn likes to run the football and be physical. I already know that the coaching staff won't be able to keep Kromah off the field, but a surprising development is the praising for veteran Roydell Williams.

Williams only played in four games last year and didn't perform up to expectations. However, he was able to use his redshirt to have one more season of collegiate football. Some individuals were surprised that the former Alabama transfer came to Tallahassee in 2025 with the depth at running back.

However, the Hueytown, Alabama native could be able to get revenge on his former team during the opener. I wonder how much Williams will be used as the season goes along. I am excited nonetheless.
