WR JAYVAN BOGGS

Florida State added USC's Duce Robinson and Tennessee's Squirrel White in the transfer portal this offseason, which many individuals feel are the WR1 and WR2 in the offense.

It is a better situation than when they acquired Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown in the portal last offseason (no shots being thrown, obviously). The coaching staff needed more proven production and upside this time around.

The offense should be miles ahead where it was last season, but how much better could it get in 2025? Who will emerge as the WR3 if Robinson and White are targeted?

I believe that for the offense to take a significant jump up, the true freshman pass catcher Jayvan Boggs will have to play at a higher level. While I understand that it is a bit much to depend on a youngster, Boggs made opposing defenses play at Cocoa High School during his senior season, where he recorded 99 receptions, 2133 yards, and 21 touchdowns (per MaxPreps).

The Florida native could certainly jump some of the talented underclassmen.
