Already Proven He Can Win at FSU

When FSU took the job at FSU in December 2019, there were a lot of questions, and Clemson was running the conference with an iron fist. The knock on Mike Norvell was he had never coached at a big-time program and wasn't known as a big-time recruiter. He experienced success at Memphis, but nobody looks at that the same.

I know FSU went 2-10 in 2024, but it'll be easy for Mike Norvell to point to the hole he got FSU out of in 2020-21 and the success experienced in 2022-23.

Mike Norvell can point to winning the ACC in 2023 and getting 10 players drafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. He'll likely have a few more players drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Plus, many of the narrative teams used against Mike Norvell and the old staff will not be effective going forward. The staff is more proven, younger, and will have better recruiting ties to the southeast than the original staff.
