DB ASHLYND BARKER (74 OVR)

Can we go ahead and say that Florida State football should be considered a part of the illustrious "DBU" title? The Seminoles are headed in the right direction with coaches Patrick Surtain Sr. and Evan Cooper in Tallahassee.

We already mentioned that redshirt junior defensive back Earl Little Jr. is playing out of his mind. This is what many in the fan base were waiting on, as the defense has shown that it isn't afraid to put fear in its opponents.

Defensive back Ashlynd Barker probably still has Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams seeing stars. The former JUCO product was lowering the boom on every opportunity that he got.

Many in the fan base didn't know what to expect when Florida State added him in the recruiting cycle. However, the 6'3" and 216-pound redshirt junior is perfect for Coach White's defense. It doesn't seem like individuals are wondering why the staff chose to go with Barker over longtime starter Shyheim Brown.

The 74 overall rating looks to be disrespectful now. An 85 rating would be a good starting point.
