DB EARL LITTLE JR. (73 OVR)
This might have been a case where the Chop Chat staff was a year too early on the breakout for the talented defensive back Earl Little Jr. The former Alabama transfer was someone that many in the fan base, as well as the coaching staff, were excited about.
Little Jr. was a former four-star prospect from American Heritage High School, which was coached by current defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. This was a match made in Heaven. The defensive back was switched from the nickel cornerback position to safety midway through the 2024 season.
It got even better as defensive coordinator Tony White joined the Seminoles' staff. His multiple 3-3-5 defensive scheme, which emphasized aggression, was perfect for Little Jr. Coach White continued to rave about the defender as he referred to Little Jr. as "Him".
The defender is the leader on the Seminoles' team with tackles (11) and an interception. It was insane that Little Jr. was only a 73 overall in the initial release of the video game, but an 89 rating could be in play for him.
