CATCH THE FOOTBALL

I know that it might seem elementary to suggest this from the Florida State wide receivers at this point, but the Seminoles have been awful this year at focusing on catching the football.

I realized that it would probably be a down year after losing the likes of ultra-talented Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson to the NFL. However, the Seminoles added Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown via the transfer portal.

I thought that Florida State would at least be serviceable in that position unit. However, they look similar to the 2021 group that was regarded as the worst in the conference. The quarterback play of DJ Uiagalelei, Brock Glenn, and Luke Kromenhoek has not helped them out either.

Veteran JaKhi Douglas has probably been the best and most consistent wide receiver on the roster. It is a shame that the senior won't even be able to witness a bowl game appearance in his final year. However, I hope that the Seminoles can generate enough confidence to catch the football on Saturday versus North Carolina.
