FORCE A TURNOVER

Florida State's defense has been serviceable this year. They have not been elite by any means or even good. However, they are not the reason why they are 1-7 in the year.

I know that fans like to place the blame on defensive coordinator Adam Fuller. I am not even suggesting that Fuller should remain on the coaching staff after 2024. But his defense is not the reason for the embarrassment that have been happening on Saturdays.

There are a few concerns I have about Florida State's defense. One of them is that they don't get offenses to turn the football over. It would be nice to see the offense get a short-field after a turnover to create some momentum to put some pressure on the opposing team.

The Seminoles have only forced three turnovers this year through eight games. Simply put, that is not good. Florida State is allowed to get better and get teams to throw interceptions or have fumbles. Why not let it happen this week for the Seminoles?
