RB KAM DAVIS

Florida State did not have the rushing attack that it wanted last season, as it was only able to muster 89.3 rushing yards per game. The Seminoles had to rely on senior Lawrance Toafili (who just signed with the New York Jets) and freshman Kam Davis.

The Seminoles then hired former UCF head football coach Gus Malzahn as their offensive coordinator, with his primary focus being to gain stability in an offense that scored only 15.3 points per game last year.

The program added former Oklahoma transfer Gavin Sawchuk in the portal and former four-star prospect Ousmane Kromah via the recruiting ranks this offseason, which allowed the fan base to think that those two would be pivotal pieces in the rotations.

However, it makes you wonder what happens to the other backs? Well... it does give the fan base questions because the youngster Kam Davis had a solid 2024 campaign with 173 yards. However, individuals wanted to see the Georgia native break more tackles as a bruising runner.

This is a back that I want to see succeed in this offense, and I hope it starts taking shape on Friday's practice.
