KEVIN WYNN NOT BACK YET
Redshirt sophomore KJ Sampson is backing up redshirt senior Darrell Jackson Jr. at nose tackle this week. It is not suggesting that Jackson Jr. will take a back seat to anyone after defensive coordinator Tony White called him the "best defensive tackle in the country" during the preseason.
However, true freshman defensive tackle Kevin Wynn was one of the many highlights in the 2025 recruiting class for the Seminoles. When you flip on the film, the Georgia native turns into a WWE superstar with how many of body slams that he delivers.
As it stands, Wynn was injured in the preseason, which impacted his timetable for return. The defender could use the extra time to rest before conference play begins, but there is nothing like live game reps before coming into conference play.
The Seminoles have a solid defensive line, but Wynn could have made it even better if he were healthy.
