WR JASEN LOPEZ

Florida State has a ton of playmaker within its roster, but there are times this season where quarterback Thomas Castellanos has only found connections with wide receivers Duce Robinson, Micahi Danzy, and Lawayne McCoy.

I realize that Castellanos is only a one-year rental (unless he gets another year of eligibility). However, the pass catchers need to improve. Wide receiver Devin Carter is a solid prospect that is electric in the open field and he is a legacy recruit.

However, my main focus would be on four-star Jasen Lopez from Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Florida, because he plays both football and basketball. He can help both Mike Norvell on the gridiron and Luke Loucks on the hardwood.

Through seven games in his senior season of football, Lopez has recorded 28 receptions for 463 yards and six touchdowns. Meanwhile, on the basketball court, he averaged 25 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.1 steals, and 2.2 assists per game last year. This needs to be a collaborative effort from football and basketball.
