QB KAIDON SALTER

Florida State understands what it means to have a competent quarterback play on its squad. The Seminoles enjoyed the majority of the 2022 and 2023 seasons with veteran signal-caller Jordan Travis at the helm.

The Seminoles decided to add former Clemson and Oregon State transfer DJ Uiagalelei to the mix in order to stay relevant and compete for an ACC Championship and potentially a spot in the College Football Playoff.

That thought process shot up in its face as Uiagalelei suffered a season-ending injury versus SMU, and they had to rely on younger options such as Brock Glenn and Luke Kromenhoek.

Neither Glenn nor Kromenhoek seemed to wow Seminole fans enough to suggest that one of them is the glorified starters in the season opener versus Alabama. One option that I would love to see the Seminoles add is Liberty transfer Kaidon Salter.

The signal-caller recorded over 4,500 passing yards with 48 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions in his last two seasons with the Flames. Plus, he added 1,500 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns. I know that the Seminoles are involved with Boston College's Thomas Castellanos, but I think that Salter would be perfect for Malzahn's offense.
