WR JAYVAN BOGGS

Veteran wide receiver Duce Robinson spoke highly of true freshman pass catcher Jayvan Boggs this past offseason, calling him an "NFL-type" player. These are high remarks for someone who had not taken a collegiate snap.

This is the reality when the Seminoles added Boggs, who was a two-time Mr. Florida Award winner, where he recorded over 4,000+ yards and 45 touchdowns in the last two seasons of his high school career. This is known that high school is much different than college, but the production can tell what type of work ethic a player has.

Boggs completed a fantastic block downfield in the East Texas A&M contest. Head football coach Mike Norvell always talks about the importance of doing the right things without the football in your hands.

Surprisingly, the Cocoa, Florida native only has one reception for three yards. However, Boggs did connect on his first collegiate touchdown. I would like to see him get more involved this week against Kent State, though.
