DE AMAREE WILLIAMS

Sophomore Amaree Williams was a phenomenal get for the Seminoles in the 2025 recruiting class. Then it was announced that Williams would re-classify to 2024. This was a big confidence booster for the fan base, as the athlete could get his feet wet in a college program.

Some didn't think there was a chance that Williams played in his freshman. However, the coaching staff thought it would be a good idea to put him at tight end. The Seminoles already had pieces such as youngster Landen Thomas and veteran Kyle Morlock.

Fast-forward to 2025, the Seminoles have veterans Randy Pittman Jr. and Markeston Douglas, as well as youngsters Landen Thomas and Chase Loftin (who is injured) at tight end. The position has been something that they already prioritize in the offense.

As a result, with that as well as the defense not generating enough pressure on quarterbacks, Williams has been fully working more with the defensive line and is now in an -or- designation with Darryll Desir and James Williams. Here's to hoping that the defensive line eats on Saturday.
