QB THOMAS CASTELLANOS

One of the biggest acquisitions for the Florida State Seminoles in the transfer portal this offseason was picking up former UCF and Boston College quarterback Thomas Castellanos.

The fan base had mixed reviews of him after the previous head football coach, Bill O' Brien, hinted at Castellanos quitting on the squad. This made a concern for some individuals because they thought that the signal-caller would give up when it got tough.

Castellanos made headlines this offseason, as he told On3's Pete Nakos in an interview that Alabama couldn't stop him and that Nick Saban couldn't save them anymore. He was right, but it looked like the Seminoles put all of their eggs in the basket trying to beat the Crimson.

Castellanos suffered an injury versus Kent State, which it made people nervous. However, he ran back out of the tunnel like everything was fine. He has not looked like the same quarterback as of late, as he has only had eight carries for 12 yards against Pittsburgh. Florida State has to have a big game, and it all starts with Castellanos.
