3 players on the Seminoles' roster that they cannot afford to lose this offseason

Florida State needs to keep these players.

WR MICAHI DANZY

This is a situation where I could've chosen another true freshman that was from the 2025 recruiting class, like I did with the last two selections.

However, it is difficult to ignore the fact that the Seminoles might need help at the wide receiver position in 2026 where big-bodied Duce Robinson has been the main target for quarterback Thomas Castellanos. This isn't to say that Castellanos will be back in 2026 as the signal-caller, but Robinson could have made himself a lot of money after his performance this year.

The truth of the matter is that Florida State will need players to step up at wide receiver. While I believe Lawayne McCoy could be an "x-factor" like Coach Norvell mentioned, the bigger potential is wide receiver Micahi Danzy, who recently converted from running back this past offseason.

Danzy is also a track star, so the Seminoles will have to battle with him potentially choosing to go full-time in that sport. However, if the pass catcher can be more consistent in catching the football before he utilizes his elite speed, it could be a scary sight for someone who is capable of torching opposing cornerbacks and safeties.
