RB OUSMANE KROMAH
Florida State's rushing attack has been confusing this year, where it looks like musical chairs every time that the running backs are out on the field. Coming into the season, it was expected that veteran Gavin Sawchuk would be leading carrier.
The former Oklahoma transfer did have his moment to shine, but over the past couple of weeks, he has disappeared into virtually nothing. This is confusing because offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn loves to run the football and he relied heavily on veteran back RJ Harvey when he was at UCF.
Fans knew that true freshman back Ousmane Kromah was going to be special, as he was a former four-star prospect that the Seminoles have to battle the likes of Georgia and Auburn to get. However, the expectations could drive the youngster to not perform as well since he needed time to grow.
Redshirt sophomore Sam Singleton Jr. also got inserted into the mix as of late, so this is just a mess that doesn't seem to be ending in a week or so. Veterans Roydell Williams and Caziah Holmes will be gone after this year, and we don't know who will be guiding the offense next year (if Malzahn retires or leaves). Kromah is the best back on the roster, in my opinion, you have to keep him at all costs.
