Florida State football fans rejoice as the Seminoles captured another victory on Saturday night, where they won by a score of 34-14 against the Virginia Tech Hokies. The Seminoles finished with a 5-2 home record in Doak Campbell Stadium.
It hasn't been an ideal 2025 campaign after the excitement of Alabama. The struggles have been on the road, where they have been winless since the 2023 matchup against the arch-rival Florida Gators.
The fan base mostly wants to see head football coach Mike Norvell to be relieved of his duties as the leader at Florida State. However, the $54 million buyout hangs in the distance, as the program wants to get back to the consistency of the "good ole days".
If Coach Norvell were to remain on staff in 2026 (or even if he wasn't), the Seminoles have to retain talented players on the roster that could make a difference on the scoreboard. As a result, I want to highlight a few that Florida State cannot afford to lose this offseason.
