DT DARRELL JACKSON JR.

It seems like every big game, Florida State fans always anticipate defensive tackle Darrell Jackson Jr. to step up. However, Jackson Jr. has not had the flashy numbers after he elected to return for another season in Tallahassee.

Jackson Jr. is taking on double teams and even triple teams at times. The defender had opposing offensive linemen raising question marks on how to contain him. He has had 17 tackles (three for loss) and one sack this season.

The former Gadsden County High School standout is no longer with his fellow teammate, Joshua Farmer, in Tallahassee as he navigates to the NFL. Jackson Jr. used to play for the Hurricanes before transferring to Florida State.

The Panthers don't have much of a rushing attack at the moment, as their starter Desmond Reid has been out for almost a month. This could allow the defensive tackle to be aggressive and push the passer.
