RB OUSMANE KROMAH
This is a moment where Seminole fans are patiently waiting for a breakout performance from true freshman running back Ousmane Kromah. The youngster was supposed to have high expectations after enrolling to the university in the summer.
It reminds me of a young Cam Akers in 2017, when he accumulated 1,000 rushing yards. Akers was a man among boys during his time with the Seminoles, and I realize that the hype train is there with Kromah, but he was a former four-star prospect that Florida State had to wrestle away from the likes of Georgia and Auburn.
Kromah has 16 carries for 111 rushing yards and also three receptions for 59 yards and one touchdown through the air. His career rushing touchdown in the Garnet and Gold will likely happen sooner rather than later.
It was a bit confusing that the Georgia native did not have many opportunities in their last game against Kent State, as he had four carries for 43 yards as well as one reception for nine yards. Veteran Gavin Sawchuk has been on a tear lately, with 11 carries for 97 yards and two touchdowns. I hope that Kromah gets attempts against Virginia this week.
