TE RANDY PITTMAN JR.
He's back!
Junior tight end Randy Pittman Jr. looks to be back in the fold this week for the Seminoles as they take on Virginia in conference play. Everyone saw his ability to physically block against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the opener, where he was putting opposing defenders on his back.
Fans shouldn't discount his ability because he isn't just a blocker. He is also a versatile pass catcher who can line up as a tight end or wide receiver. Pittman Jr. only has two catches for 16 yards.
This is an opportunity for him to get going since he should be playing in the game against Virginia after sitting out against East Texas A&M and Kent State (smart decision to rest him before conference play in my opinion).
This is a player who has been in Gus Malzahn's offense for multiple years and can help guide other contributors on the roster. Make no mistake about it, this is a massive development for the Seminoles.
