OL MARIO NASH JR.
Florida State experienced hardships in its 2025 recruiting class when offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins was dismissed from the program. Some recruits voiced their displeasure with what transpired.
Commits such as Solomon Thomas (LSU), Peyton Joseph (Georgia Tech), and Daniel Pierre Louis (Florida) went elsewhere. The fan base was frustrated with the Seminoles got announcing a position coach sooner. However, it looks like they wanted to ensure that it was the right fit.
Even though Florida State did not have a coach hired, the Seminoles were able to obtain the services of four-star offensive lineman Mario Nash Jr.
Nash Jr. is a special prospect who can play all over the offensive line at tackle, guard, or center. I imagine that Nash will get a look at the center position, given that Maurice Smith has moved on and graduated. However, with his 6'4" frame, I think he will be utilized at offensive tackle as well.
