LB IZAYIA WILLIAMS

College football recruiting is so hectic nowadays where high schoolers cannot make up their mind in what they want to do when announcing their commitments. Florida State has been burned in the past during the Early Signing Period.

Linebacker recruiting has been a topic of concerns for quite some time for the Seminole faithful. This is a position group that fans have been wanting to see a tick up in talent and talent for a while, but the linebackers haven't delivered as much as they would have liked.

However, all of their fortunes could now change with four-star linebacker prospect Izayia Williams. I get that he has committed numerous times in his recruitment, but there is a reason why teams put up with the shenanigans.

Williams has the ability to run sideline to sideline and is very active around the football. He would be a perfect linebacker in Tony White's 3-3-5 defensive scheme. The hope is that he can be able to contribute heavily in 2026 as a true freshman.
