FSU football: 5 game-winning plays in ACC Championship over Louisville
Lawrance Toafili Wildcat 75-Yard Run
While the Seminoles defense was on fire against the Cardinals, offense was not doing well at all. Being a true freshman with very little experience, Brock Glenn struggled immensely. Plus, our top-notch receivers played poorly in this game with dropped passes, not helping the freshman quarterback.
Thankfully, running back Lawrance Toafili stepped up as Coach Norvell decided to use him in the wildcat formation. Norvell’s decision played off well as Toafili had a terrific 75-yard run off the wildcat formation to set the Noles up in the red zone.
After many failed offensive drives resulting in punts, it was relieving to see somebody finally step up and make a big play.
Louisville’s defense didn’t have an answer for the wildcat as it was completely unexpected. Lawrance Toafili boosted momentum for the Seminoles and changed the course of the game.
