Bama and Texas Lost

The narrative Alabama and Texas are two of the four best teams is a joke. Both teams lost a game this year and have several close games against inferior competition.

As I mentioned, Alabama needed a “Hail Mary” to beat a terrible Auburn team that got blown out by New Mexico State the week before playing Alabama.

They went life and death with a terrible South Florida team. They barely beat Texas A&M and Arkansas(who only won four games). Texas lost to a two loss Oklahoma team.

They barely beat Houston and TCU(who aren’t bowl eligible). Who’s to say they won’t goto the College Football Playoff and look like crap? Who’s to say their QB won’t get knocked out of the game in the first quarter?

These two teams have played several questionable games this year and have looked very mediocre at times. Just because Alabama beat a Georgia team that had looked mediocre at times?

The games on the field should have mattered.
