Confidence

Tate Rodemaker has come a long way since the Jacksonville State game in 2020. He’s attempted passes in 11 games since that day and has looked progressively better as the years have passed.

However, I think we’ve seen a noticeable difference in Rodemaker since the Louisville game last year. In hindsight, that was such an important game that helped propel the Noles to a 4-0 start and support the narrative the Noles were on the right track.

Had they lost that game, they may not have secured the services of some of the recruits they ultimately signed. Not only has Rodemaker’s confidence shot through the roof, his teammates believe in him.

Jordan Travis believes in him and is leading the charge on social media in support. Now, it’ll be important for Rodemaker to get off to a solid start in the Swamp.

He’ll need to make good decisions and avoid turning the ball over(something he’s done well this season). It’s not against the law to punt and not force something in this game.

If he can get off to a good start, I think he has the potential to carve Florida’s defense up.
