FSU football: Could the Noles secure the No. 1 recruiting class?
FSU football has had such a successful season this year where they possess an 11-0 record and have been in the discussion for the College Football Playoff.
Recruits have taken notice of the Seminoles’ resurgence on the gridiron, and the coaching staff is taking full advantage with the success on the field.

Does FSU have a chance to be the No. 1 recruiting class?
While the Seminoles are currently the third-best recruiting class in the country, they are behind Georgia and Ohio State for the top spot.
There are several prospects that the Seminoles are involved with in this cycle such as five-star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith (Ohio State commit), five-star defensive end LJ McCray (Florida commit), four-star cornerback Cai Bates, four-star Zay Mincey, four-star defensive tackle Artavius Jones (Miami commit), three-star defensive end Lugard Edokpayi, three-star defensive tackle D’Nas White and three-star safety Xavier Lucas (Wisconsin commit).
Even if Florida State were able to obtain prospects such as Smith, McCray, Edokpayi, Bates, and White, the Seminoles would only have a 306.42 composite score which would be No. 2 behind the Georgia Bulldogs (who have 314.47).
Nonetheless, it is difficult to complain about a recruiting class that is shaping up to be one of the best that the Seminoles have had in quite some time.
