FSU Offense Must Stop Wasting Possessions

I’m happy FSU won the game, but FSU has bigger goals than beating Miami. They are in the hunt to win an ACC Championship and making the College Football Playoffs.

I’ve said the team would go as far as the offense would take them all season. Well, the FSU defense forced seven punts, and the FSU offense punted seven times.

While Miami is a good defense, they are not elite, and FSU shouldn’t be punting that many times with the amount of weapons they have.

FSU had ONE yard in the second quarter and three possessions that went three-and-out. This stype of stuff seems to happen in nearly every game, and after the Noles have shown varying levels of success early in the game.

If FSU makes it to the College Football Playoff, they can’t waste that many offensive opportunities.
