ACC Referees Continue To Be Terrible

I can’t explain how bad ACC referees are at their job. They missed blatant holding calls against the Miami offensive lines that would have resulted in a safety for FSU on Miami’s first offensive possession.

They missed a review that helped FSU when they should have called a safety on a sack when Jordan Travis made a bone-headed play and ran backwards near the end zone.

They missed an obvious targeting review against Miami as one of their players blatantly launched with the crown of his helmet into Jordan Travis’ helmet.

They missed a review on an interception by Miami in the first half when Greedy Vance clearly got his arm underneath the ball on a tipped pass. They also failed to make the correct call on the play where Miami’s quarterback got hurt.

The Miami quarterback’s knee was down well before he attempted to reach out for the first down. Had they made the correct call, the game would have been over instead of Miami getting a few more plays.

I get missed calls in real time, but getting calls wrong when they get reviewed is atrocious.
