FSU football didn’t play its best game Saturday night and beat the rival Miami Hurricanes for the third consecutive year.

Let that sink in after how the Noles looked against Miami in the 2020 season. I was never worried going into the game against Miami Saturday night.

I knew FSU had the better overall team, and all it came down to was FSU not beating themselves and executing each play.

I never felt like FSU was in any real danger of losing the game at any point. I felt like the game was over once the Noles took the lead in the third quarter, barring anything ridiculous happening.

Once they went up two scores in the fourth quarter, my hope turned to blowing Miami out for the second consecutive season with over 100 recruits in attendance.

FSU is or will battle Miami for several of those recruits, and the win should pay dividends with a number of them.

There were many positives from the game, but there’s a lot FSU must clean up, particuarly on offense. Here are 10 major takeaways from the win over Miami.
