Be Patient

The Miami Hurricanes will begin this game with a lot of emotion as they look to match the energy of the sold-out crowd inside Doak Campbell.

I’m sure Miami players will be talking trash, and FSU players need to stay the course and play the game. I liken this game to the Duke and Pittsburgh games a bit because both of those teams featured good defenses with offenses that had limitations.

Miami will likely show hyper-aggression on defense, hoping to force the FSU offense into making a bad decision and turn the ball over.

They’ll also look to bring physicality in hopes of forcing fumbles to generate turnovers. FSU players need to keep their cool, don’t try to do too much, and take what’s there. If they have to punt the first couple of times on offense, that’s fine.

Defensively, do your job, and don’t try to play hero ball. Miami’s aggression on defense will ultimately become their downfall.

Miami’s offense isn’t good enough to consistently go up and down the field on FSU’s defense.
