Ja’Khi Douglas

With Coleman and Wilson out with injury, Ja’Khi Douglas stepped up in a major way, leading the team with six receptions for 115 yards.

A couple of those catches were the type we’ve become accustomed to seeing from Keon Coleman or Johnny Wilson.

Douglas played out of position as an outside receiver in the absence of Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman, picking up key first downs and keeping drives going allowed the Seminoles offense to find their rhythm after struggling in the first quarter.

Jordan Travis was comfortable because of Douglas’ reliability over the past couple of years. Douglas missed the first half of the season with an injury, but has come on strong over the last two weeks.

When Travis needed wide receivers to step up, Douglas rose to the occasion and then some, helping the Seminoles earn the win over Pittsburgh.
