TAKEAWAYS

The top four of the committee’s ranking remains the same. While Ohio State, Georgia, and Michigan are ahead of Florida State, the Seminoles still have the opportunity to control its own destiny.

Some fans suggest that Ohio State does not have enough offensive firepower beside wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., Michigan has not played any opponents on their schedule, and Georgia is not the same team as last year.

Regardless of the other teams, the Seminoles have to live out their “All We Got, All We Need” motto.

The No. 4 ranking was to be expected, but Florida State has to continue to handle its business and they will be in the College Football Playoff. The Seminoles had fantastic victories, at the time, against LSU and Clemson. However, both programs have suffered losses since FSU has played them.

Ironically enough, the Boston College victory seems to be a good win for the Seminoles’ resume as the Eagles have won five straight games. Most individuals in the college football media always seem to pinpoint the close victory over Boston College when discussing why the Seminoles are not a serious College Football Playoff contender.

The committee certainly understands that Florida State still has pivotal matchups on its schedule with Miami, Florida, and potentially Louisville. Head football coach Mike Norvell and company know what’s at stake as the Seminoles have to continue their winning ways.

Buckle up Seminole fans, it could be an interesting month of November.
