Parting Thoughts

Although the points scored per game decreased slightly since the bye-week, I think the offense has performed better since the bye-week, despite playing consistently better defenses than the first four games.

They rank No. 9 nationally in scoring per game.

FSU’s rushing game improved, and their third down conversions improved considerably. FSU has also been slightly more explosive, and that’s with Johnny Wilson missing multiple games and Keon Coleman missing the Pittsburgh game.

Defensively, FSU has played worst offenses overall since the bye-week, but have been dominant.

They’re allowing fewer points per game (No. 16 nationally), fewer yards per play (No. 30 nationally), and their third down conversions allowed is No. 7 nationally.

FSU could improve on these numbers over the next three games. They have two Power five games left against Miami and Florida, and North Alabama.

Miami has the No. 46 offense and No. 30 defense. Florida has the No. 35 offense and No. 69 defense.
