FSU football is currently ranked No. 4 in the 2024 247Sports Composite rankings.

The Seminoles have 22 prospects committed to their recruiting class. This number includes four highly-touted wide receivers in four-stars Camdon Frier, BJ Gibson, Lawayne McCoy, and Elijah Moore.

However, wide receivers coach Ron Dugans seems to be far from finished when acquiring prospects at the position.

While Florida State seems to have plenty of playmakers on its current roster, the Seminoles were forced to play without the likes of Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman in their 24-7 victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers.

You can never have too many playmakers at the receiver position. As a result, the Seminoles are still pursuing highly-touted prospects such as five-star wide receiver Cameron Coleman from Phenix City, Alabama.

According to a report from On3 Recruiting Insider Chad Simmons, the talented pass catcher will be visiting Florida State during their highly-anticipated home matchup versus their arch-rival Miami Hurricanes on November 11th.

This comes as no surprise as Coleman suggested to a variety of media members that he would be back to visit for that weekend when he visited campus over the summer. It is certainly a weekend that a ton of prospects will be visiting.

Head football coach Mike Norvell and his coaching staff could be feeling the pressures of the contest, given the fact that the Seminoles remain undefeated and are competing against the Hurricanes on the recruiting trail.

Texas A&M could be in danger of losing the commitment of the five-star prospect, who has pledged to the Aggies since July 4th. Former Florida State head football coach Jimbo Fisher is ultimately feeling the pressure of succeeding in College Station where they currently possess a 5-4 record.

This could be a perfect scenario for the Seminoles to showcase its undefeated record and production at the position. This could be eventful ending for the Seminoles in their Early Signing Period.
