QB Making His 4th Career Start

The FSU defense has been playing at a superb level since the second half of the Clemson game and had not been terrible before that.

They should have no problems with this Pittsburgh quarterback making his fourth start. He’s a big guy that they try to move around a little in the read option game, but he’s not a real threat to run the ball.

If FSU can get pressure, he has no shot of being effective through the air, nor does Pittsburgh have any scary receivers. He’s completing only 52 percent of his passes and threw four interceptions last week against Notre Dame.

He completed 48 percent and threw for 144 yards on 29 attempts last week. Notre Dame only had two sacks, but he was looking to get rid of the ball quickly and made a ton of inaccurate throws.

Pittsburgh has been a balanced offense this year, but I could see them leaning more towards the run against FSU since they’re so stout against the pass.
