Baba Miller’s Versatility

Baba Miller was another important piece for Florida State, who missed 16 games due to his suspension from the NCAA. While he did perform well in the 15 games played, the Noles were already declining when he joined the team. However, this time around, Miller will be available for coach Hamilton at the start of the 2023-24 season.

Spending the summer with the FIBA U19 team allowed Miller to continue his growth. He came back to Florida State and showed more confidence on offense, as well as being versatile on defense. Miller was one of the X-Factors defensively by guarding multiple positions and staying in front of his defender. The length and activity Miller has on defense is huge for the team. They have an elite rim protector who will take pride in protecting the basket.

Miller finished the contest with 16 points and nine rebounds. It’s only one game, but he looks more confident in his play compared to last year. Miller has a chance to be the leading factor for the Seminoles in their journey back to success.
