FSU football has continued to showcase its product in a positive manner on the football field as the Seminoles defeated the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday night by a score of 38-20.

Highly-touted recruits are taking notice of what head football coach Mike Norvell and company are doing. For reference, the Seminoles acquired five-star defensive lineman Armondo Blount recently and are not looking to slow down any time soon.

The coaching staff has unfinished business to take care of as the Seminoles currently have 22 prospects committed in the fold and are looking to add more pieces to what is already a sensational haul.

On Monday morning, Class of 2024 four-star cornerback target Jamari Howard from Westland Hialeah High School in Hialeah, Florida announced that he will be making his commitment on November 10th (time is to be determined) between Florida State, Florida, Maryland, Michigan State, and Rutgers.

FSU currently have four defensive backs committed to their 2024 class in five-star safety KJ Bolden, five-star cornerback Charles Lester III, four-star cornerback Ricky Knight III, and four-star safety CJ Heard Jr.

Even with all of the defensive backs in the fold, the Seminoles have still been heavily recruiting Howard since he decommitted from the Michigan State Spartans on May 13th.

FSU seems to be the team to beat as the cornerback has received two crystal ball predictions in favor of the Seminoles from 247Sports Director of Football Recruiting Steve Wiltfong and Noles247 Contributor Zach Blostein.

This recruitment is set up really nice for the coaching staff to secure a very talented prospect. For reference, Florida State will be taking on its arch-rival Miami Hurricanes in a huge matchup on November 11th (a day after Howard makes his decision).

That could be a huge recruiting weekend for the Seminoles as a variety of highly-touted prospects will be on campus.
