South Florida Recruiting

Remember the narratives about Mike Norvell not being able to recruit high school talent? What about the narrative about FSU not getting big-time players out of South Florida with Mario Cristobal as head coach?

I know we still have to sign the players in the 2024 class, but for now, rival fans can toss both narratives out of the door. Once Blount is added to the 2024 class, the Noles will have 22 commits with a 68 percent blue-chip ratio (15 of 22). Several of which hail from South Florida.

They’re trending for at least two more blue-chip players, which could push the blue-chip ratio to 71 percent.

If those additions come to fruition, FSU could push Florida out of the No. 3 spot for the top recruiting class in the Sunshine State(not to mention Florida could lose some guys down the stretch with a tough schedule and several losses incoming).

FSU has a ton of momentum, landing 2025 four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard Saturday night.
