FSU football is in a prime position to continue changing the program perception with a primetime showdown against No. 17 Duke Saturday night.

Fans and the media don’t care about the strength of the schedule, but only if you dismantle who’s on the schedule. Duke is (5-1) on the season and enters the game as -13.5 point betting underdogs.

The only loss they have came against Notre Dame and it’s a game the Blue Devils were one tackle away from winning.

Unfortunately for the Noles, Duke will likely be without starting QB Riley Leonard, or he’ll likely be far less than 100 percent after getting injured at the end of the Notre Dame.

FSU has a major talent advantage and matches up well with the the Blue Devils. They’ll be the best offense the Blue Devils have faced by far and Duke has only played one away game all season.

FSU got off to a great start last week playing complementary football, and I’d like to see that happen without the second-quarter lull for the second consecutive week.

FSU seems close to playing its best overall football since its bye-week in early October.

I expect FSU to play well, and here are five things I want to see against the Duke Blue Devils.
