FSU football: 3 keys to victory for Florida State versus Duke
FSU football is getting ready to take on the Duke Blue Devils in a highly-anticipated matchup in a sold-out Doak Campbell Stadium. This will mark the fourth home game of the 2023 season for the Seminoles.
Where has the time gone?
Florida State has been the talk of the college football landscape this season as they look to start the season with a 7-0 record for the first time since 2014. If it was not for the Blue Devils losing to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, College GameDay would have potentially had a trip to Tallahassee.
However, that notion would have likely been a pipeline dream given that Duke has made a College GameDay appearance earlier in their loss to Notre Dame, and the Ohio State-Penn State matchup generates more viewership in terms of national perception than FSU-Duke.
Nonetheless, the Seminoles have not been a perfect product this season but their offensive unit has showcased flashes of being dynamic where they have scored over 40 points per game. On the defensive side of the ball, they likely had one of their best performances of the season in their 41-3 victory over Syracuse.
Florida State has to focus its attention now on the Duke Blue Devils, who are a very talented football team that will give the Seminoles their A+ effort. If the Seminoles want to continue to stay undefeated, here are three keys to victory that head football coach Mike Norvell and company have to accomplish.
