No. 4 FSU football will be back in action Saturday afternoon for their third-noon game this season when they host the Syracuse Orange.

had the pleasure of going to the Virginia Tech game and didn’t have to listen to the commentary team on ABC. The Noles will air on ABC once again this week.

The broadcast trio will be Bob Wischusen, Robert Griffin III, Kris Budden. Wischusen is a graduate of Boston College and has experience calling mid-major conference games, NBA, AFL, and some MLB. Robert Griffin is a former Baylor QB and had a short stint in the NFL before injuries ended his career.

Budden is a graduate of Missouri’s School of Journalism, and has covered MLB, NCAA and SEC Tournaments.

Thoughts

Wischusen and Griffin have been paired together a few times. Griffin recently caught some flack for a comment made in a LSU game a couple of weeks back, referencing Jayden Daniel getting sacked as, “they just lifted that man up to the sky like Jesus to put him on the cross.”

It’s not the first time Griffin has said some off the wall stuff, and it won’t be the last time, especially if FSU takes care of business like most expect them to against Syracuse. There could be quite a bit of air time to fill, so you may want to find an alternative if that’s not your cup of tea.

The Noles enter the game as -17.5 point betting favorites and were seven point betting favorites last year before blowing Syracuse out 38-3. The Orange will look to avoid their third consecutive loss after losses to Clemson and North Carolina in back-to-back weeks. FSU will look to win their second game consecutive game by double-digits, with hopes of getting some backup players more reps to continue to build depth on both sides of the ball.
