Offensive Approach

As I mentioned earlier, FSU playcalling is a 50/50 split through four games. Will FSU go back to trying to establish the run, or will they go more to a passing attack with all the skilled weapons they have on offense?

Also, because FSU seems to have better pass blocking than run blocking right now. There was only one season at Memphis when Mike Norvell threw the ball more than he ran it. I think they’ll look to establish a rushing attack, especially if they get their starters back on the offensive line.

They have a game next week against Virginia Tech that would be a good game to see if they could get it going if they get everyone back. If they can’t, it might be time to go air raid and supplement with a run here and there.

However, if Jordan Travis becomes part of the run game again, that would change things. I’m not sure I’d run Jordan Travis against a team like Virginia Tech. They should win the game without having to use him in that fashion.

There are more important games down the line if he still needs more time to get closer to 100 percent.
